Christie Hodgen’s ‘Elegies for the Brokenhearted’

I initially read Elegies for the Brokenhearted because I was curious as to how an author would handle a fiction piece written in second person, since fiction is not usually written in second person. I have to say Hodgen did an outstanding job creating a fictional memoir, retold by the narrator, through her life  encounters with five very different people. This was a great read.
